Testimony: Vauguens

Lakou has broken ground on the construction of a two-story commercial building called the LaGrace project. Our friend Vauguens is the structural steel fabricator and engineer for this project. Randy first met Vauguens while visiting Edy Gehy, the Director of Water for Life. Lakou recently completed a security wall and the Life Learning Center for Water for Life, which was where we held our certification ceremony this past July.

Vauguens is championing a new wave by bringing structural steel into Haiti in a way it hasn't been used here before. Structural Steel is an excellent product for seismic conditions caused by earthquakes, which Haiti is well known for. We appreciate our relationship with Vauguens and his willingness to help train our participants.

Partnerships like the one we have with Vauguens, and projects like LaGrace, are evidence that Lakou is growing. Commercial projects require specific safety standards, quality, and productivity so that customers can have the assurance that their projects are coming in on time and on budget. Investors are looking for someone they can trust, and they are beginning to trust Lakou.
